I’m a Senior Learning Experience Designer with over eight years of expertise in creating impactful and innovative learning solutions in higher education and professional development. Currently serving with the Office of Professional Development and Educational Scholarship at Queen's University, I specialize in developing engaging and accessible educational programs that meet diverse learner needs and exceed standards.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked on projects for a range of esteemed organizations, including:
One of my proudest achievements was contributing to the design and launch of Queen’s Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) program, where I set course delivery standards, implemented accessibility initiatives, and developed training for new designers. I also led accessibility efforts at Queen's University, ensuring online education exceeded AODA standards and provided learners with flexible, inclusive options. Additionally, my portfolio includes nationally recognized projects with Health Canada, tackling critical issues such as the Opioid Crisis and Medical Assistance in Death through bilingual, high-impact educational programs.
With expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design, I’m proficient in Learning and Development technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Lectora, and Camtasia. My passion for illustration adds a creative edge, enabling me to craft visually engaging content that resonates with learners. I thrive on collaborating with faculty, developers, and stakeholders to design impactful learning tools from ideation to completion, creating educational experiences that empower learners and meet the evolving challenges of modern education.
